DAY ELEVEN OF MySexLifeInParis

Being one of the world's capital cities, and being what it is Paris almost stands for beautiful and enjoyable, definitely appealing and desirable. Paris in fact is full of rich, luxurious, important, nice places. All of them can be divided into two categories: a) the dead one you can’t touch or walk or sit, the only ‘to look places’: Louvre, Noter Damme, all the other important museums, parks and streets. The look places.

And b) alive and unapproachable unless you are a billioner places: super nice hotels, apartments, villas, restaurants, shops… and they are more or less in the same districts as the only to look places.

BUT, if you want to see a new fashion designers studios it is not in those areas that you should go. If you want to go to trendy clubs, again it is not in those areas that you can find them. If you want to visit architect’s studios, music and video production agencies, it is not in those areas that you go.

So, where do you go?

Check the pictures.

You can see sort of trendy Bellville square and a cue in front of a restaurant a friend made me come and wait because it is so good!

How does it look?

What does it remind you of?

Beirut?

Bosnia and Herzegovina during the war? People cuing for food and water, garbage from the explosions scattered everywhere.

That is trendy Paris for you. Of course, this is not the only ‘trendy’ part of the city, I have visited others as well, and with the exception of Bercy, one can safely say that they all have a lot in common: la monezza (the garbage).

Une question s'impose:

Why do artists like trash?

Do they need trash?

Is life more beautiful if you live next to it?

Is it more bearable? More sensible? Real.

I have no definitive answers to these questions. But I do know the name of the most creative city of the world – Naples. It is a perfect conjunction of litter and the best new young comedian: Alessandro Siani I love you!

Notes:
All the small restaurants are always full: the food is a little bit better than in McDonalds, prices are more or less the same (13 – 15 euro for a meal), but hygiene… the immigrants integration from third world countries in that field completely failed (and they own and/or work in all restaurants).
Tourteau cheese is a name for every gourmand to have in mind: a sponge like ‘cake/cheese’ with a very thick black crust. I am without words.. and a full mouth.
